CLE to put Indian leather on show in Emirates

India’s Council for Leather Exports (CLE) has confirmed that it will lead a delegation of 30 export-focused companies from India to a meeting with potential buyers in the United Arab Emirates. The even will take place over two days in December.

In the 2012-2013 financial year (April-March) India’s exports of leather and leathergoods to the UAE had a value of more than $125 million. CLE said on announcing the new event that it hoped to boost this figure considerably.
