As in previous years, towards the end of the academic calendar for 2013, students from the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies at the University of Northampton joined students for the Galilei Institute for Tanning Technology in Arzignano in northern Italy on a visit to the TFL Academy in Montebello, near Arzignano.

Leather chemicals manufacturer TFL hosted a four-day workshop for the students, covering theoretical and practical aspects of leather manufacture, with a special focus on the ecological aspects of the leather manufacturing process.
