Specialty chemicals manufacturer TFL has launched a new product called Roda fix BT1, especially developed to respond to what it calls “strong market demand” for a matt top coat, in combination with a natural and pleasant touch.

This top coat is an easy-to-use product, TFL said at the time of the announcement, with high levels of wet- and dry-rub fastness and heat- and light-fastness. It forms a medium soft, dull film with a talc-like touch and has good physicals when being cross-linked.

“Roda fix BT1 keeps colours deep and brilliant,” the company added, “and is thus highly suitable for dark coloured leather articles.”
