Pakistan’s leather industry exported finished leather with a value of $389.4 million in the first ten months of the current financial year (July 2012-April 2013).

This figure represents growth of 8.6% compared to the same period in the previous financial year.

The corresponding figure for leathergoods was $461.8 million, growth of 4.6% compared to the same ten-month period a year earlier.
