Rolls-Royce appoints new director of manufacturing

Rolls-Royce Motor Cars has announced that Frank Ludwig has joined the company as director of manufacturing. In his previous role he was director of painted body for BMW in Leipzig.

Mr Ludwig replaces Jörg Bause, who leaves Rolls-Royce Motor Cars to take up a senior position at BMW South Africa.

“I am delighted to welcome Frank to Rolls-Royce and to his new position heading the manufacturing team here at the home of Rolls-Royce at Goodwood,” said chief executive, Torsten Müller-Ötvös. “With his extensive experience, I am confident that he is ideally suited to further develop on the impressive results that have been achieved by Jörg Bause over the past three years.”
