China imports 4.3% less finished leather in Q1

Imports of finished leather into China declined by 4.3% in value in the first quarter of 2013 compared to the same period in 2012.

In the first three months of 2013 China imported finished leather with a value of $500 million.

According to the China Leather Industry Association, the main sources of this finished leather were Italy, South Korea, India, Brazil, Thailand, Argentina, Pakistan and Vietnam, in descending order.
