Shafi Reso Chem launches new ‘eco pigment’ range

Pakistan-based leather chemicals manufacturer Shafi Reso Chem has introduced a new range of products under the banner ‘eco pigments’.

Shafi describes the range, Lustratop Eco, as a series of organic water-based pigments that can provide brilliant, stable colours to finished leather. The company claims the product reduces the impact of chrome, lead and other heavy metal salts on environment. Rub and light fastness properties are good.

The pigments have good levelling properties on all types of leather, Shafi said at the time of the launch, and can provide good covering properties, allowing tanneries to upgrade their selections.
