ACLE exhibitor space almost booked up

The September edition of the All China Leather Exhibition (ACLE) will have 10% more exhibition space than the 80,500 square metres in 2012, and organisers say many of the halls are nearly fully booked.

APLF project manager Josephine Lee said there will be 19 country pavilions in the September fair, including that of the Leather Industries of America, which is attending for the first time. The German pavilion has been increased by 13% to 500 square metres while the Turkish pavilion has increased by 22% to 2,500 square metres.

Exhibits range from raw hides and skins and finished leathers to tanning machinery and tools, chemicals and leather-related services, and the show will take place between September 4 and 6 in Shanghai. The co-located China International Footwear Fair and Moda Shanghai fairs also provide a good source of buyers, say organisers.
