JBS publishes new sustainability report

In the report, the company celebrates having become a member of the Global Reporting Initiative, a not-for-profit organisation set up by the United Nations in 1997 to promote economic sustainability.
The document captures the details of a list of JBS environmental care initiatives in 2012, including projects to offset greenhouse gas emissions, and to manage energy and water consumption.
