Technical conference for leather in eastern Siberia

Russia’s ministry of education and science and the East-Siberia State University of Technology and Management have announced an international technical conference on technology, environmental management, education and quality issues surrounding the leather industry in the twenty-first century.

The two organising bodies have issued a call for papers for the event, which will take place from August 26-30, 2013, in the city of Ulan-Ude, the capital city of the Republic of Buryatia. Interested parties have until June 10 to submit an abstract to vsgutu-leather@mail.ru.

Ulan-Ude is accessible by air from Moscow and from Beijing, as well as being a stop on both the Trans-Siberian and Trans-Mongolian railways.
