Audi leather factory opens in Romania

Plant manager Ovidiu Ambrus commented: "We have an excellent workforce with the right skill set in this area and we are confident that we will meet the high quality standards for our customers.”
Around 300 are employed at the factory in Baia Mare but it is estimated this will rise to 650 by the end of the year.
"Baia Mare is an optimal location in terms of infrastructure and transportation networks and will strengthen TRW's position as one of the largest Romanian employers in the automotive supply industry," added Mr Ambrus.
TRW Automotive is headquartered in the US and had sales of $16.4 billion last year.
