March export success for leather in Pakistan

Pakistan’s Federal Bureau of Statistics has reported leather-industry exports for March of just over $108 million. This represents an increase of almost 50% compared to the previous month, February.

March exports of finished leather had a value of $50.7 million in March, while the value for leathergoods was $48.8 million, increases of 63.4% and 54.1% . Leather footwear exports brought in revenue of $8.6 million, a fall of 12.2% compared to February.
