Coach announces another change at the top

24/04/2013
The executive creative director of US leathergoods brand Coach, Reed Krakoff, is to step down from the role after 16 years when his current contract expires in June 2014.

US-based fashion media reported the development as Coach was posting a 7% increase in sales for the quarter ending on March 30. Its sales for the three-month period were almost $1.2 billion.

Reed Krakoff’s announcement follows confirmation that Lew Francfort is to step down as chief executive at the end of this year. Mr Francfort’s replacement has already been announced: Victor Luis, currently Coach’s chief commercial officer, will become the new chief executive.
