Revised guide to chemicals in footwear

The Footwear Distributors and Retailers of America (FDRA) and BLC Leather Technology Centre have worked together on a revised version of their guide to managing chemicals in footwear.

The aim of the guide is to help footwear companies understand the chemicals that are widely used in shoe production and develop a strategy to manage their use in the context of what BLC has called “the changing landscape of global product safety regulations”.
