Muirhead makes Asia appointment

Mr Duffy joins the company, part of the Scottish Leather Group, from Zodiac, a cabin interiors specialist producing seats under the brands Sicma, Weber and Contour, where he was territory manager for Asia.
He started his career as a manufacturing engineer at British Aerospace in the early 1980s and has worked in and around the aviation industry ever since. He has lived and worked in Malaysia for the last four years.
Commenting on his new role, he said: “I know and respect the Muirhead brand and its products as one of the best performing and quality leathers in aviation. The business is going from strength to strength, both in terms of aircraft interiors and growth in Asia, and I can’t wait to get started and help continue this success.”
Muirhead’s managing director, Colin Wade, added: “Dominic’s appointment is a continuation of our strategy to employ sector specialists in key regions around the world as our status as a global supplier progresses. He will be a valuable addition to the team in a very important sector and region for Muirhead. We continue to develop and innovate in leather technology for airlines, and Dominic will be bringing these new products to market in Asia, home to some of the best and most respected carriers in the world.”
The appointment is effective immediately.
