Beast to Beauty debate on leather’s carbon footprint set to be lively

05/04/2013
The 2013 Beast to Beauty conference in Northampton on April 26 will include a debate on the subject of the leather sector’s carbon footprint, with speakers representing the different points of view that exist in the industry about the percentage of upstream carbon footprint attributable to leather. It promises to be a lively session.

The fourth Beast to Beauty event will focus on ‘Eco and Creativity by Design’ and is being organised by World Leather and training consultancy Leather Wise, with speakers including London-based designer Bill Amberg.

The conference will take place in the Great Hall of the Newton Building at Northampton University, and will conclude with a drinks reception at the Museum of Leathercraft, Abington Park.
