Xing Ye increases revenues by more than 20%

Fujian-based tanning company Xing Ye Leather, which is publicly listed, has reported a growth of revenues in 2012 of 20.5% to almost $250 million.

Xing Ye, which was Tannery of the Year for China in 2011, has also begun operations in part of its newly expanded wet blue facility.

The company has specialised in footwear leather during most of its years in business, but said in its annual report it will invest in new technology in the near future to be able to make leather for bags too.
