Leathergoods fair promotes ‘Made in Nigeria’

20/03/2013
The first Made in Nigeria Leather Goods Fair has been slated for May 8 to 12 in Abuja, the country's capital, and aims to “increase the awareness of very lucrative investment opportunities within the sector”, according to organisers.

The fair is being organised by Erayana Exhibitions in conjunction with Lagos Television and has been endorsed by the Lagos State Ministry of Commerce & Industry and the Footwear, Leather & Rubber Products Senior Staff Association.

As well as trade visitors, the fair will be open to the public to enable “fashion followers and leathergoods consumers to enjoy what had previously been the preserve of high-class premium leather buyers”.

“The fair will also enhance growth opportunities for those in the leather sector while strengthening their trade relations and networking opportunities,” they added.
