Hotel chain owner admits admiration for Church shoes

Jeff Klein, owner of the JK Hotel Group, is a devoted fan of traditional English footwear brand Church.

Speaking recently to the Financial Times for its Power Dressing column, Mr Klein, whose hotels include the City Club Hotel in New York City and the Sunset Tower Hotel in Los Angeles, revealed that he favours a home-based designer, Tom Ford, for his suits and shirts. However, when it comes to shoes, he looks to Europe.

He said: “I really like the shape of this shoe; I have a wider foot so shoe shopping can be challenging. I’m not as involved with day-to-day operations of my hotels any more, so I’m not on my feet all day necessarily, but these are really comfortable.”
