The princess and the crocodile leather suit

12/03/2013
Spain’s Princess Letizia, the wife of heir to the throne Prince Felipe, wore a Hugo Boss jacket and skirt suit in slate blue crocodile leather to fulfil her role as presenter at an awards event in Madrid in mid-March.

Princess Letizia, a former television newsreader, hosted an event to celebrate accessible technology for people with visual impairments for ONCE, the National Organization of Spanish blind people.

As well as being on trend with her choice of reptile leather, she won praise in local media for wearing a suit in which she had already appeared in public. With austerity measures hitting all aspects of the Spanish economy, for a prominent member of the royal family to re-use an outfit has met with general approval.
