Rolls-Royce Wraith makes global debut at Geneva

Luxury automotive brand Rolls-Royce presented its new Wraith model for the first time at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show (March 7-17). The company has described the car as “the most powerful and dynamic Rolls-Royce in history”. Attributes such as luxury, refinement and hand-craftsmanship are in evidence in the Wraith, but Rolls-Royce Motors also said the new model presents “a unique character defined by power, style and drama, with just a hint of the noir”.

Chief executive, Torsten Müller-Ötvös, called the new car “the ultimate gentleman’s gran turismo”.

It has coach-style doors that open to reveal an interior with Phantom-grade leathers and wood panelling. Fibre optic lamps are hand-woven into the roof lining to give the impression of a starry night sky.

Prices for the car in European markets will be around EUR 245,000.
