Fratelli Rossetti hopes workshop will unveil new talent

High-end footwear and leathergoods brand Fratelli Rossetti and fashion training institution Istituto Marangoni will co-host a workshop in Milan on March 11 aimed at students on the Master’s course in fashion accessories and luxury goods at the institution.

At the event, students will be asked to create a product that is innovative and in keeping with Fratelli Rossetti values. The three brothers who run the brand, Diego, Dario and Luca Rossetti will announce a particular theme for the project on March 11.

Students will then be allowed two months to prepare their designs. During this time, Fratelli Rossetti will support those taking part in the workshop in the form of talks given by Luca Rossetti. In May, the most interesting projects will be assessed by the company with a view to including them in future Fratelli Rossetti collections.

The company has said it hopes its relationship with Istituto Marangoni will be ongoing and that the partnership will help it identify new talents amongst the young designers attending courses there.
