Tuncay Deriner, a former general manager of Stahl Kimya in Turkey, has been appointed as managing director of Stahl India.

He succeeds Tim Amos, who returned to the UK in January.

Mr Amos joined Stahl UK as a sales technician in 1969 while studying leather technology at Northampton College. In 2001, he was appointed managing director of Stahl India.

Mr Amos will continue to work with Stahl on specific projects.
