Serious Chinese interest at Istanbul event

More than 200 exhibitors from Turkey and beyond took part, with double-face garment leather and finished apparel a particular focus. Some exhibitors even put on live fashion shows as an added attraction for buyers.
Many of the visitors were from Russia, a long-standing, important market for Turkish leather and leather garments. However, this year the organisers also said they were pleased by the numbers and the seriousness of buyers who travelled from China to attend.
Chemicals and machinery suppliers also took part.
