Maison Fabre supplies glove glamour for Nicole Kidman
17/01/2013
Maison Fabre hand-made 20 pairs of gloves at its workshop in the traditional glove-making town of Millau in the south of France for Ms Kidman to wear in her role as Grace Kelly in the new film Grace of Monaco. Filming for the picture recently finished and it will be on screen early in 2014.
The gloves were made in super-soft lambskin with pearl buttons, in satin from French cotton, or hand knitted cotton.
Grace Kelly wore Maison Fabre gloves in the 1950s, when the company supplied gloves to Christian Dior.
The Millau-based company will start selling the models used in the film from September 2013.
