Bangladesh: leather technology college to offer degree courses

The government of Bangladesh has boosted the status of the country’s college of leather technology, conferring on it the new title of Institute of Leather Engineering and Technology.

Since the start of January, the institute has been part of the faculty of engineering at the University of Dhaka.

Students will now be able to pursue degree courses in leather technology, leather product technology and footwear technology at the institute.
