Scottish Leather Group names new finance director

Scottish Leather Group has appointed a new finance director with effect from January 1, 2013, to replace retiring Gordon Ross, who will remain on the board.

Ian Lundie has over 20 years’ board-level experience as a finance director of UK and international businesses in the manufacturing, travel and computer software sectors.
Jonathan Muirhead, group chairman, said: “Ian’s appointment will strengthen the board as he brings a wealth of experience, particularly in international business. As the company seeks to expand its operations overseas in the next few years, I look forward to Ian’s contribution to the delivery of our strategic goals.”

Mr Lundie added: “I am delighted to be joining such an innovative and highly regarded company. I very much look forward to working closely with the senior management team at Scottish Leather Group to deliver even greater success in the future.”

The Scottish Leather Group exports to more than 60 countries and supplies to Aston Martin, British Airways, Emirates, Jaguar and Land Rover.
