University celebrates graduate job success

An article in the Financial Times has heaped praise on the University of Northampton for its record in equipping its graduates for the world of work, with the Institute for Creative Leather Technologies at the university winning a particular mention for its 100% record in producing students who find jobs quickly.

The university’s vice-chancellor, Professor Nick Petford, told the newspaper that a strategy of embedding skills throughout the undergraduate courses on offer through work placements, volunteering and social enterprises was paying dividends.
