The value of leather garments produced by 330 companies in China reached 54 billion yuan ($8.6 billion) in the first 10 months of the year, according to the China Leather Industry Association.
This was a 20.2% increase over the same period last year.
In the volume terms, it grew 4% to 48.9 million pieces.
