An 80,000 square metre leathergoods and leather clothing mall has opened in Beijing, according to local reports.

The shopping centre, situated in the commercial district of Dahongmen, houses leather clothing, luggage and bags sellers, and attracted a number of international buyers to its launch.

The China Leather Industry Association said a second, 70,000 square metre leathergoods mall is under construction on the same site.
