Abu Dhabi to host World Luxury Fashion Week

High-end designers such as Jean Paul Gaultier and Carolina Herrera are to show collections at the inaugural World Luxury Fashion Week in Abu Dhabi next month.

It will bring together some of the world’s leading luxury fashion and automobile brands from November 25 to 28 at the Jumeirah at Etihad Towers.

The show opens with two evenings of haute couture shows, followed by two evenings of prêt-à-porter brands, including Hervé Léger.

Many luxury retailers are expanding into Abu Dhabi, a country with strong growth potential, with Burberry, Hermès and Manolo Blahnik among those which have recently opened stores in the Avenue at Etihad Towers, a new luxury shopping district.
