TFL opens service centre in Indian leather hub

Leather chemicals manufacturer TFL has opened a service centre, laboratory and office within the Kolkata Leather Complex in India.

It chose its location in the emerging leather cluster, which is a little outside of the city, so it could improve contact with its Indian customer base.

“This means from now on, the customer will be able to get feedback on his technical problems on the spot and on the customer's own material – both quickly and professionally,” said the company.

The new lab is well-equipped and most wet-end and finishing processes can be carried out there.

Germany-headquartered TFL has a presence in a number of leather producing areas in India, and has a modern production plant in Hyderabad.
