New product, new service from Feltre

Specialist automated hide-handling technology provider Feltre has introduced a new product called the Superbelt T1, designed to receive hides from the new generation of high-load drums.

Superbelt T1 can transport up to 1 tonne of hides per square-metre and is designed to unload the hides from the high-load drums such as  Cangilones, Jumbo, Vortex and so on. In a small space, the belt can easily carry up to 30 tonnes of limed or tanned hides, Feltre has said.

According to the manufacturer, the new conveyor can also be used to receive and move full truck-loads of raw hides arriving at tanneries from slaughterhouses.

In addition, Feltre has announced that it will launch a new service called Feltre Engineering. The company will use its 40 years’ experience of the industry to help its partners around the world build new tanneries or rebuild existing facilities.
