The governor of the province of Sindh in Pakistan, Dr Ishratul Ebad Khan, officiated at a ground-breaking ceremony for a new water supply project that the authorities say will provide the tanning cluster of Korangi, near Karachi, with 19 million litres of water a day.
At the ceremony, the government said a new drainage system and a project to remove solid waste from the area would take place too.
