Fendi artisans give shoppers a behind-the-scenes look

The first visitors to Fendi's flagship store in Thailand were treated to demonstrations by its artisans on how its bags are made, from selecting the leather to creating the finished product.

The craftsmen from Italy showed shoppers at the Siam Paragon mall in Bangkok the meticulous processes that go into selecting the skin, cutting and sewing some of Fendi’s best-loved handbags, reported The Bangkok Post.

Fendi wanted to demonstrate the amount of manual work that goes into the process - a medium Peekaboo bag takes a single craftsperson about three days to make.
