Specialty chemicals manufacturer Lanxess held a one-day conference in Shanghai on September 6 to examine the future of sustainable mobility around the world, with a special emphasis on China.

After a general session looking at the future of the automotive market because consumers require cars to have lighter leather, greener tyres and the best possible all-round environmental performance, there was a series of breakout sessions, one of which was devoted to leather.
