APLF to shunt synthetic materials suppliers upstairs

The organisers of the Asia Pacific Leather Fair (APLF) have said that exhibitors who sell synthetic materials as substitutes to leather are to be allowed to continue to take part in the exhibition, which next takes place in Hong Kong from March 25-27, 2013, but will not be permitted to share a hall with tanners.

Suppliers of genuine leather will be in Hall 1 at the 2013 event while companies who make synthetic substitutes, who in previous editions have shared the same floor, will be upstairs in Hall 3 in the Hong Kong Convention & Exhibition Centre.
