Turkish university to offer new leather engineering degrees

At a joint-meeting with the Usak tanners’ association the rector of the university, Professor Sait Celik, said the degree courses would begin in the new academic year this autumn and would help train people in the local industry to “international standards”.
President of the association, Akif Kuplemez, said: “Our co-operation with the university will strengthen our research and development activities, help in solving our technical problems and improve our overall quality.”
