TFL offers new softening agent

Coripol Esa facilitates a clear, clean pearl crust with a slightly silky handle and good grain tightness, making it suitable for soft items such as shoes, leather goods and garments. Nubuck and suede show a shiny two-way nap without smearing, according to the company.
The heat fastness under extreme conditions of seven days at 120°C on both wet blue and wet white leathers make it suitable for automotive leather. This type of leather also benefits from the noticeable gravimetric fogging properties and the neutral odour of the product.
Coripol Esa is based on natural renewable materials and it is free from palm oil derivatives. After acid fixation, low chemical oxygen demand values have been noted, due to its excellent bath exhaustion.
It can also be used to produce leathers which pass the White Line specifications – TFL’s standard for reassuring customers that the leather complies with test procedures for harmful substances, is environmentally compatible and dermatologically tested.
