A co-operative producing fish leather in Guarujá in the state of São Paulo has signed an agreement with a local university.

Design students at the São Paulo State University (UNESP) in Bauru will use leather from the Pérolas Co-Operative in Guarujá to create a range of accessories and interior design decorations. The objective is to gain wider recognition in the market for the leather the co-operative produces.
