Brazilian beef exports up in value and volume

Brazil’s ministry for development and overseas trade has published beef export figures for the country for the month of July.

In the course of the month, Brazil exported 83,000 tonnes of beef, which brought in export revenues of $378 million.

These figures represent a rise of 32.7% in volume and of 19.5% in value compared to the totals for July 2011.
