Solutions for full tanning process from Trumpler at ACLE

09/08/2012
German leather chemicals manufacturer Trumpler will show a range of new products for all stages in the tanning process at ACLE 2012.

For the beamhouse TRUPONAT TSG is a product that the company describes as “a concentrated, cost-effective and environmentally friendly biodegradable liming auxiliary, free from sulfides, amines and nitrogenous adducts”. The product facilitates a gentle opening up of the pelt while regulating swelling, reducing wrinkles and enabling hair root removal.

For fatliquoring, ACLE visitors will be able to see SOLVOTAN VM, a cationic fatliquor that can be applied in pickle and tannage (chrome-free and chrome) to achieve a flat grain while improving the inner softness without any negative influence on the grain tightness, Trumpler says. As a cationic fatliquor, it can be used as a pre-fatliquor agent. TRUPON AMC, on the other hand is a fatliquor that is especially suitable for suede leathers.

Finally, for retanning, there is TRUPOTAN NFN, a neutralisation agent for sole application, whereby the grain tightness of the raw material can be improved.
