Another new tanning system proposed, this time from Finland

The company is the world's largest producer of organic salts and blends and its Tanfor T system is based on compounds from aluminium, silicon and organic acids.
The system is free of chromium, aldehydes, aldehyde precursors and organic solvents. According to the company, with the appropriate retanning, Tanfor T can be used for all known leather applications and can fully replace both aldehydes and chromium.
