Pakistan’s leathergoods exports fall

Pakistani leathergoods and footwear export fell significantly in the financial year 2011-12,
according to the country’s Bureau
of Statistics.
Leathergoods exports fell 4.2% and footwear
exports dropped 9.6% during the 12-month period.
The leather glove segment bucked the trend,
with exports rising 33%.
