Vietnam leather and shoe show opens

The 14th International Shoes and
Leather Exhibition opened on July 19 at the Saigon Exhibition and Convention
Center in Vietnam.
The three-day event plays host to 150
producers and suppliers from 16 countries and territories, including Vietnam,
China, Singapore, Italy, India and the US. For the first time, a pavilion from
Tuscany will offer insight into developments within the shoemaking sector.
A range of new collections and
innovations are on show including footwear machinery, tanning machinery,
garment and furniture leather, raw hides, shoe components, chemicals and
accessories. Around 6,000 visitors are expected to attend the
event.
