Beef export decline continues in Argentina

Argentina's national agriculture, food and health service (Senasa) has announced that over the first five months of this year, the country has exported 52,377 tonnes of beef.

This represents a fall of 23.2% compared to the same months in 2011. It also makes three consecutive years of decline in beef exports from Argentina between January and May. At this time in 2010 there was a drop of 38.6% and in 2011, a decline of 21.7%.
