UNIDO and CLIA to host Shanghai leather sessions

UNIDO is to co-host its eighteenth leather and leathergoods industry panel with the China Leather Industry Association (CLIA) in Shanghai. The panel, which will run from August 31 to September 6, will be sponsored by Haining Leather Market.

Topics that will be discussed at the event include leather trends, design and patternmaking, added value, training tools, tannery effluent treatment, cleaner technologies.

Speakers will include CLIA president Su Chaoying, UNIDO project coordinator Ivan Král and UNIDO development officer Ferenc Schmel.
