Pakistani leather delegates visit UK
A 37-member trade delegation from the Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI) visited Manchester on June 21. The delegation was led by Irfan Qaiser Shaikh, president of LCCI, and included representatives from the Pakistani leather and leathergoods segments as well as others from the textile, agriculture, lubricant, food, petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals and tourism industries.
Meetings were established with UK-based companies to explore potential business prospects and joint ventures.
The visit also included a business seminar followed by a
networking lunch, which was organised by Commercial Section Manchester and UK Trade and Investment
in conjunction with the Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.
