Qatari owners of Le Tanneur prepare to launch new luxury leathergoods brand

Qatar Luxury Group, which last year took over French luxury leathergoods manufacturer Le Tanneur & Cie, has set up a dedicated manufacturing operation close to the brand’s previous base in Corrèze in south-central France and is preparing to launch a new Qatari brand of French-made luxury leathergoods.

According to reports in France, the group will only reveal the name of the new brand at the end of this summer, a year after taking over.

The new workshop is in the village of Monestier-Merlines and employs around 50 craftsmen and women.
