Former Süd-Chemie CEO to leave Clariant

A year after taking up a position on the executive committee of specialist chemicals manufacturer Clariant, Dr Hans-Joachim Mu¨ller has decided to leave the company on June 30, 2012, for personal reasons. His current responsibilities will be transferred to the other members of the executive committee, Clariant said.

Dr Mu¨ller was the chief executive of Süd-Chemie, the Munich-based company that Clariant acquired in April 2011. He was appointed a member of the executive committee in July 2011

“I want to thank Hans Joachim Mu¨ller for his commitment and dedication during his time with our company, in particular for his contributions to the integration of Su¨d-Chemie during the past 12 months,” said chief executive, Hariolf Kottmann. “I wish him all the best and continued success in his future endeavours.”
